Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Zamarat (3-21) lost to thirteenth ranked Zaragoza (8-14) in Zamora 71-82. American-Montenegrin center Markeisha Gatling (196-92, college: NC State) stepped up and scored 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and American guard Robyn Parks (185-92, college: VCU) chipped in 19 points. Zaragoza's coach Carlos Iglesias allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American guard Victoria Vivians (185-94, college: MSU) responded with 24 points and Jamaican forward Vanessa Gidden (192-85, college: Hofstra) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Zaragoza moved-up to eleventh place. Zamarat lost their sixth game in a row. They stay dead last with 21 lost games. Zaragoza will play against league's leader Perfumerias Avenida in Salamanca in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
