The game in was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Ramat Hasharon (4-7) played at the court of eighth ranked M.Haifa (5-6). M.Haifa did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 86-69 on Monday. Strangely Ramat Hasharon outrebounded M.Haifa 41-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Nia Coffey (185-95, college: Northwestern, agency: LBM Management) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Feyonda Fitzgerald (170-95, college: Temple, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 23 points and 4 assists. Guard Jennie Simms (183-94, college: ODU) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists and center Alaina Coates (193-95, college: S.Carolina) added 18 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side. M.Haifa moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Petah Tikva. Loser Ramat Hasharon dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Bnot Hertzeliya. M.Haifa will meet league's leader Ramla on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ramat Hasharon will play against Holon (#3) and hope to secure a win.
