Very important is a road loss of second ranked H.Galilee (8-4) against tenth ranked E.Netanya (6-7) on Tuesday night. Visiting H.Galilee was defeated by E.Netanya in a tough game in Netanya 67-76. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of H.Galilee. E.Netanya dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to H.Galilee's 26. They outrebounded H.Galilee 40-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. E.Netanya players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American forward Bryce Washington (201-96, college: La-Lafayette) had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Senegalese forward Abdoulaye Gueye (206-94, college: Georgia Tech) chipped in 9 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Alon Sapir (201-94) with 16 points and 5 rebounds and guard Deshaun Night (186) scored 17 points (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!). Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. E.Netanya moved-up to seventh place. H.Galilee at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost. They share it with M.Ashdod and I.Ramat Gan. E.Netanya will play against Maccabi Raanana (#11) on the road in the next round. H.Galilee will play against Hasharon (#12) in Ramat Hasharon and hopes to get back on the winning track.
