Everything could happen in Minsk at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Gorizont 2 and 6th ranked Victoria had identical 5-12 record. This time Gorizont 2 used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Grodno 60-53 on Thursday night. Victoria was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 20-9 charge of Gorizont 2, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Victoria to just 7 points in first quarter. Gorizont 2 forced 30 Victoria turnovers. Forward Aleksandra Shumeiko (173-1) scored 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Aleksandra Chyzhevskaya (185-2) chipped in 8 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Polina Domenyk (186-5) with 7 points and 18 rebounds and forward Elizaveta Shyshliuk (178-5) scored 16 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gorizont 2 maintains fifth position with 6-12 record. Loser Victoria keeps the sixth place with 13 games lost.
