A very interesting game took place in Valls. It ended with only one-point home defeat of leader Valls Nutrion (6-2) to second ranked Castelldefels (6-2) 72-71 in the game for the first place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Valls Nutrion. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The best player for the winners was forward Eric Manes (194-87) who scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Joan Ferran Bernacer (195-99) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Diamond Onwuka (203-97, college: St.Cloud St.) produced 30 points and 8 rebounds and guard Pol Olivier (188-94, college: NW Nazarene) added 11 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Castelldefels have an impressive series of six victories in a row.
