No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Paterna (9-8) outleveled at home 14th ranked Sevilla (2-19) 90-67 on Saturday. Paterna looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Nadia Fingall (191, college: Stanford) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 7 rebounds and Frida Cecchi (-3) who added 8 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Virginia Lopez (-86) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Paula Garrido (-89) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Paterna have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place. Sevilla lost fifth consecutive game. Sevilla at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourteenth position with 19 games lost. Paterna will face higher ranked Real Canoe (#7) in Madrid in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sevilla will play on the road against Unicaja (#5) in Malaga and hope to win that game.
