Regular Season Round 20: Faenza - San Salvatore 67-55

Serie A2 top team - Faenza (15-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked San Salvatore (10-6) 67-55. The winners were led by Latvian power forward Liga Vente (190-91, college: Eckerd) who scored that evening 19 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Rachele Porcu (170-97) supported her with 20 points. Even 17 points and 5 rebounds by guard Silvia Ceccarelli (182-96) did not help to save the game for San Salvatore. Forward Giulia Manzotti (179-93) added 17 points for the guests. Faenza maintains first position in A2 with 15-2 record. San Salvatore at the other side dropped to the sixth place with six games lost. Faenza will play against Firenze (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. San Salvatore will play against Patti and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
