Very expected game when 12th ranked CFBB (2-13) lost to eighth ranked Calais (5-9) in Paris 55-72 on Saturday. Calais dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 26. They outrebounded CFBB 43-22 including a 31-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for forward Shelby Saint Juste (185-98) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Fleur Devillers (180-95, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center Oumou Diarisso (189-3) replied with 10 points and point guard Leila Lacan (174-4) added 12 points and 5 steals in the effort for CFBB. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Calais maintains eighth position with 5-9 record. CFBB lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. Calais will face La Tronche (#9) at home in the next round. CFBB will play against Reze and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
