Very important is a road loss of third ranked H.Galilee (8-5) against eleventh ranked Hasharon (5-9) on Saturday night. Visiting H.Galilee was defeated by Hasharon in a tough game in Ramat Hasharon 76-81. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Christian Cunningham (201-97, college: JSU) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Gil Amitay (198-89) accounted for 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Guard Deshaun Night (186) came up with 25 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and American-Bahamas Jonathan Augustin-Fairell (201-93, college: Murray St., agency: Inception Sports) added 10 points and 14 rebounds respectively for H.Galilee in the defeat. Four H.Galilee players scored in double figures. H.Galilee's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hasharon maintains eleventh place with 5-9 record. H.Galilee at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Hasharon will play against higher ranked H.Ramat Gan (#6) in Givataim in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. H.Galilee will play on the road against H.Afula and hopes to get back on the winning track.
