Regular Season Round 21: Treviglio - Tortona 66-84

Serie A2 top team - Tortona (15-2) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they beat seventh ranked Treviglio (8-9) 84-66. It was a good game for American forward Jalen Cannon (198-93, college: SFC) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Bruno Mascolo (190-96, agency: Players Group) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Tortona players scored in double figures. Center Jacopo Borra (215-90) answered with 9 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and American point guard JJ Frazier (178-95, college: Georgia) added 10 points in the effort for Treviglio. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tortona maintains first place in A2 with 15-2 record. Treviglio at the other side keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Tortona are looking forward to face Piacenza (#6) in Casalpusterlengo in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Treviglio will play at home against Verona and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
