Regular Season Round 12: Agrigento - Bologna Basket 89-77

No shocking result in a game when first ranked Agrigento (10-2) beat at home 4th ranked Bologna Basket (6-6) 89-77 on Sunday. Agrigento forced 20 Bologna Basket turnovers. It was a good game for power forward Paolo Rotondo (204-89, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Andrea Saccaggi (190-89) contributed with 17 points and 8 assists for the winners. Center Eugenio Beretta (208-96) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and swingman Alberto Conti (195-98) added 18 points and 4 assists in the effort for Bologna Basket. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Agrigento maintains first position in B with 10-2 record. Newly promoted Bologna Basket keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Agrigento will face Torrenova (#7) in Torrenovese in the next round where they are favorite. Bologna Basket will play at home against Palermo and hope to win that game.
