No shocking result in a game in Saint-Amand where sixth ranked Gazelles (8-5) smashed bottom-ranked Hainaut (1-13) 71-52. The winners were led by American forward Napheesa Collier (191-96, college: UConn) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import forward Myisha Hines-Allen (188-96, college: Louisville) supported her with 8 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Gazelles' coach Thibaut Petit allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 9 points and 9 rebounds by American swingman Jasmine Bailey (176-90, college: UIC) did not help to save the game for Hainaut. Power forward Assitan Kone (190-95) added 10 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Gazelles have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Hainaut lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Gazelles' next round opponent will be league's leader Bourges at home and it may be the game of the week. Hainaut will play against Villeneuve D'Ascq (#7) and hope to win that game.
