We should mention about the upset which took place in Charnay-les-Macon, where higher ranked Villeneuve D'Ascq (7-7) was outleveled in a road game by eleventh ranked Charnay (3-11) 76-55 on Wednesday. Charnay made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Charnay outrebounded Villeneuve D'Ascq 46-35 including 33 on the defensive glass. American forward Haley Peters (190-92, college: Duke) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Spanish point guard Sandra Ygueravide (172-84) scored 11 points.
