Regular Season Round 26: Slask - GTK Gliwice 80-72

No shocking result in a game when second ranked WKS Slask (18-8) beat 10th ranked GTK (11-15) in Wroclaw 80-72. WKS Slask forced 19 GTK turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The best player for the winners was international power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 26 points. Serbian point guard Strahinja Jovanovic (185-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 assists. American guard Terry Henderson Jr (196-94, college: NC State) produced 25 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Tayler Persons (191-95, college: Ball St.) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. WKS Slask maintains second position with 18-8 record having six points less than leader Enea Zastal, which they share with Legia. GTK at the other side dropped to the ninth place with 15 games lost. WKS Slask's next round opponent will be Wilki Morskie (#7) in Szczecin where they are favorite. GTK will play at home against HydroTruck Radom and hope to win that game.
