Very important is a road loss of third ranked Lucenec (15-13) against fourth ranked Levice (15-9) on Saturday night. Visiting Lucenec was defeated by Levice in a tough game in Levice 102-111. Levice forced 19 Lucenec turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Simon Krajcovic (187-94, college: LMU) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 28 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals and the former international center Boris Bojanovsky (217-93, college: FSU) who added 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. International guard Robert Rozanek (190-96) responded with 25 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Roydell Brown (198-98, college: McNeese St.) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Levice moved-up to second place. Lucenec at the other side dropped to the fourth position with 13 games lost. Levice will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lucenec will play at home against the league's leader Nova Ves (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
