Very important is a road loss of third ranked Mursa (2-2) against sixth ranked Tresnjevka (2-3) on Saturday night. Visiting Mursa was crushed by Tresnjevka in Zagreb 94-47. Tresnjevka dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Mursa's 20. Tresnjevka forced 34 Mursa turnovers and outrebounded them 51-26 including a 29-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Forward Anja Skara (188-91) nailed 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and Anja Majstorovic (186-94) accounted for 9 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Petra Simunic (-93) came up with 16 points and swingman Magdalena Mihaljevic (176-3) added 11 points and 4 steals respectively for Mursa in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tresnjevka moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Newly promoted Mursa dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. Tresnjevka will play against league's leader Ragusa in Dubrovnik in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mursa will play at home against Pula and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
