The most exciting game of round 21 in the LF2 took place in . This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of second-best Estepona (13-7) to sixth ranked Granada (11-7) 65-62 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Estepona. The best player for the winners was Argentinian power forward Ornella Santana (183-90) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Trinidad and Tobago-Vincentian center Verdine Warner (194-92, college: Shaw) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Sierra Moore (180-94, college: Penn St.) who recorded 13 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Jone Azkue (180-95) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Granada have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 11-7 record. Newly promoted Estepona dropped to the third position with seven games lost. Granada are looking forward to face higher ranked Unicaja (#4) in Malaga in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Estepona will play on the road against Almeria and is hoping to win this game.
