Regular Season Round 22: Pleszew - Rydzyna 62-70

Not a big story in a game when 3rd ranked Pleszew (14-7) lost at home to first ranked Rycerze (17-2) 70-62 on Saturday. Quite impressive performance for point guard Dawid Brek (187-89) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Power forward Maciej Rostalski (198-90) contributed with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Rycerze's coach Jedrzej Jankowiak used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Krzysztof Spala (190-93) replied with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Mikolaj Spala (190-93) added 12 points and 4 assists in the effort for Pleszew. Rycerze have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Newly promoted Rycerze maintains first position in Group D with 17-2 record. Loser Pleszew dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost. Rycerze will face Slask 3 (#9) in Wroclaw in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
