No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Den Bosch (5-3) crushed on the road bottom-ranked Amsterdam (1-8) 95-67 on Saturday. They outrebounded Amsterdam 38-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. American guard JaCori Payne (180-96, college: Columbus St.) nailed 32 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and American-Iraqi guard Demario Mayfield (196-91, college: Angelo St.) accounted for 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Den Bosch players scored in double figures. Center Berend Weijs (207-88, college: Maryland) came up with 10 points and 6 rebounds and forward Floris Versteegh (206-94, college: CS Fullerton) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Amsterdam in the defeat. Amsterdam's coach Laki Lakner gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Den Bosch. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Yoast United. Amsterdam at the other side stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. Den Bosch will meet at home league's leader Leiden in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Amsterdam will have a break next round.
