There was no surprise in Zamora where 16th ranked Zamarat (3-23) was crushed by second ranked Valencia (24-1) 78-52 on Sunday. Valencia outrebounded Zamarat 42-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American center Celeste Trahan-Davis (186-85, college: ECSU, agency: LBM Management) who scored 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). German center Marie Gulich (194-94, college: Oregon St.) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Valencia players scored in double figures. Valencia's coach Ruben Burgos felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest.
