Very important is a home loss of third ranked Torino (10-5) against sixth ranked Treviglio (10-9) on Sunday night. Host Torino was defeated by Treviglio in a tough game in Torino 86-92. Treviglio made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for Slovenian forward Mitja Nikolic (200-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points. American point guard JJ Frazier (178-95, college: Georgia) helped adding 18 points and 7 assists. American forward Kruize Pinkins (201-93, college: USF) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and naturalized Senegalese power forward Ousmane Diop (205-0) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Five Treviglio and four Torino players scored in double figures. Torino's coach Demis Cavina rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Treviglio moved-up to fifth place in A2. Loser Torino dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. Treviglio will meet at home Bergamo (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Torino will play against the league's leader Tortona (#1) and hope to secure a win.
