Regular Season Round 29: KTP Basket - Kobrat 108-110

A very interesting game took place in Kotka. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 8th ranked KTP Basket (9-12) to ninth ranked Kobrat (9-11) 110-108 in the fight for the seventh place. KTP Basket was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Jordan Loveridge (198-93, college: Utah) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 6 assists. Forward Nate Grimes (203-96, college: Fresno St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Guard Braxton Huggins (196-96, college: Fresno St., agency: One Motive Sports) answered with 32 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Greg Mangano (208-89, college: Yale) added 21 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for KTP Basket. Four Kobrat and five KTP Basket players scored in double figures. Kobrat moved-up to seventh place. KTP Basket at the other side keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. Kobrat's next round opponent will be Kataja (#8) in Joensuu. KTP Basket will play on the road against the league's second-placed Pyrinto and will have a slim chance for a victory.
