Ninth-ranked Leeuwarden (2-8) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Den Bosch (7-3) on Saturday. The visitors from Den Bosch managed to secure only two-point victory 74-72. However their fans expected much easier game. It was a great evening for American-Iraqi guard Demario Mayfield (196-91, college: Angelo St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard JaCori Payne (180-96, college: Columbus St.) helped adding 16 points. Den Bosch's coach Jean-Marc Jaumin used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Chad Frazier (191-92, college: UAB) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Rwandan-Canadian guard Jean-Victor Mukama (203-94, college: Ryerson) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Den Bosch have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 7-3 record. Leeuwarden lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. Den Bosch will meet at home Yoast United (#6) in the next round. Leeuwarden will play against Den Helder and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
