Regular Season Round 19: PBB - Costa Artraba 72-51

There was no surprise in Porrino where bottom-ranked Costa Artraba (0-10) was crushed by sixth ranked PBB (6-4) 72-51 on Saturday. Point guard Lucas Vaquero (185-89) fired 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Andres Cardito (176-93) chipped in 15 points and 5 steals. Four PBB players scored in double figures. Forward Jorge Aller (195-97) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and Jose Maria Moreno (200-99) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. PBB moved-up to fourth place. Costa Artraba lost their tenth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with ten games lost. PBB will face higher ranked Obradoiro S. (#3) in Santiago de Comp in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Costa Artraba will play at home against Betanzos (#10) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
