The game in Umea was also quite interesting. Seventh ranked Koping Stars (10-16) played at the court of 8th ranked Umea (5-22). Koping Stars managed to secure a 4-point victory 96-92 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Umea won third quarter 27-26. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Koping Stars dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Umea's 44. American forward Craig Victor II (206-95, college: LSU) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Jonah Mathews (190-98, college: USC) supported him with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Koping Stars' coach Panagiotis Nikolaidis used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Even 32 points and 7 assists by Spanish guard Guim Exposito (197-94, agency: Promo Sport ID) did not help to save the game for Umea. American forward Cole Welle (201-96, college: California) added 16 points and 13 rebounds for the hosts. Four Koping Stars and five Umea players scored in double figures.
