Regular Season Round 19: Ardoi - Mondragon 67-83

Everything went according to plan in Zizur Mayor where first ranked Mondragon (10-2) won against 6th ranked Ardoi (5-5) 83-67 on Sunday. Swingman Andoni Acha (195-99) fired 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Simion Mancebo (200-94) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Naturalized Ukrainian forward Anton Savitski (196-86) produced 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and center Andres Zabaleta (200-94) added 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Mondragon maintains first place with 10-2 record, which they share with Chantada. Ardoi lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Mondragon will face Tabirako (#9) in Durango in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ardoi will play on the road against Valle de Egues in Olaz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
