The game in Rodou was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Panathinaikos (12-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Kolossos HH (6-9). Panathinaikos defeated Kolossos HH 95-82. It looked good early as Kolossos HH took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Panathinaikos had a 34-14 second period charge getting the lead and Kolossos HH was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 82-95. Kolossos HH was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Ioannis Papapetrou (203-94, college: Texas) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and the former international center Georgios Papagiannis (220-97) who added 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American guard Dominic Artis (192-93, college: UTEP, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 20 points and 9 assists and Turkish forward Kerem Kanter (207-95, college: Xavier) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Four Kolossos HH players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Kolossos HH at the other side keeps the seventh place with nine games lost. They share the position with Iraklis. Panathinaikos will play against Ionikos (#9) in Aigaleo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kolossos HH will play on the road against Larissa BC and hopes to get back on the winning track.
