Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Benahavis (7-2) won against on the road 10th ranked Martos (4-9) 81-73 on Sunday. They outrebounded Martos 46-34 including 16 on the offensive glass. Martos was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Canadian forward Evan Pellerin (199-82, college: Stonehill) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Adrian Ramirez (192-2) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. Argentinian guard Alejandro Fidalgo (180-82) produced 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Argentinian guard Leandro Furlan (193-93) added 11 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Benahavis.
