Regular Season Round 27: Start - Trefl 80-91

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Lublin where sixth ranked Trefl (16-11) won against 5th ranked Start (16-11) 91-80 on Tuesday. Trefl made 22-of-23 free shots (95.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for American-South Sudanese Nuni Omot (206-94, college: Baylor) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 5 rebounds (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!). The former international center Dominik Olejniczak (213-96, college: FSU) helped adding 12 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Sherron Dorsey-Walker (194-93, college: Oakland) with 18 points and Dutch guard Yannick Franke (194-96) scored 13 points. Start's coach David Dedek rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Trefl moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Start. Trefl will face MKS DG (#10) in Dabrowa Gornicza in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
