Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Vigarano (1-19) lost at home to sixth ranked Empoli (13-8) 71-64 on Saturday. Croatian Nina Premasunac (187-92, agency: LBM Management) notched 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Kamiah Smalls (178, college: JMU, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 19 points. Five Empoli players scored in double figures. Empoli's coach Alessio Cioni used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 9 points, 19 rebounds and 4 blocks by Ukrainian power forward Tetyana Yurkevicius (187-95) did not help to save the game for Vigarano. Serbian guard Anja Marinkovic (173-98, college: FGCU) added 25 points for lost side. Empoli have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 13-8 record.
