There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Moron (7-13) outplayed higher ranked Zentro Basket (8-11) in Morón de la Frontera 98-74 on Saturday. Moron shot 65.5 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 63.6 percentage. It was a good game for point guard Diego Gallardo (192-96, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 27 points. Cuban-Belgian point guard Sigfredo Casero-Ortiz (185-97) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Moron players scored in double figures. Portuguese power forward Goncalo Delgado (203-98, agency: Dynamics Global Management) answered with 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Nacho Rodriguez (200-94) added 16 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for Zentro Basket. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Moron moved-up to twelfth place in Silver. Newly promoted Zentro Basket keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Moron will face league's second-placed Estela in Santander in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
