Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Novaschool (7-2) defeated 8th ranked CAM E.Soler 2 (5-8) in Malaga 86-77 on Saturday. Novaschool dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to CAM E.Soler 2's 26. Novaschool forced 20 CAM E.Soler 2 turnovers. American forward Alex Jackson (200-84, college: UMSL) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 8 rebounds. Center Chema Del Rio (203-91) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Jackson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Novaschool players scored in double figures. Point guard Daniel Terron (180-85) replied with 21 points and 4 assists and Serbian forward Marko Orlic (203-95, college: Keiser) added 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for CAM E.Soler 2. CAM E.Soler 2's coach Paco del Pino let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Novaschool have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place in Group D-A. CAM E.Soler 2 lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Novaschool will face Almeria (#7) on the road in the next round.
