There was no surprise when 12th ranked Ironi Nahariya (3-16) was defeated at home by eighth ranked H.Beer Sheva (9-8) 105-92 on Saturday. H.Beer Sheva outrebounded Ironi Nahariya 49-25 including a 27-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-Canadian guard Caleb Agada (196-94, college: Ottawa, agency: Blacktop Management) who had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 6 assists. American forward Eric Griffin (203-90, college: Campbell) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Filipino-American guard McKenzie Moore (198-92, college: UTEP) who recorded 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Jaron Blossomgame (199-93, college: Clemson) added 25 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four H.Beer Sheva and five Ironi Nahariya players scored in double figures. H.Beer Sheva moved-up to seventh place. Loser Ironi Nahariya dropped to the bottom position with 16 games lost. H.Beer Sheva will face Ironi Nes-Ziona (#8) in Nes Ziyona in the next round.
