Worth to mention a great performance of Greek forward Mariella Fasoula (196-97, college: Vanderbilt, agency: Wasserman) who helped to win the game recording 18 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and American guard Tanaya Atkinson (183-96, college: Temple) who added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Clarinos' coach Claudio Garcia allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side Nigerian-American forward Atonye Nyingifa (180-90, college: UCLA) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and American guard Arica Carter (173-96, college: Louisville) scored 15 points. Four ASEFA Estudiantes players scored in double figures. Clarinos moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Ensino and IDK Eustotren. Newly promoted ASEFA Estudiantes keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost. Clarinos will play against IDK Eustotren (#8) in San Sebastian in the next round. ASEFA Estudiantes will play at home against the league's second-placed Valencia and hopes to get back on the winning track.
