Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Sodertalje (10-11) defeated on the road 9th ranked Wetterbygden (5-15) 86-68. The game was mostly controlled by Sodertalje. Wetterbygden was better in third quarter 25-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Canadian swingman Cassandra Brown (189-92, college: Portland) who led her team to a victory with 21 points and 8 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). American guard Shawnte Goff (173-94, college: UTRGV) contributed with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Sodertalje players scored in double figures. Guard Emma Johansson (160-91) answered with 13 points and 5 rebounds and forward Evelyn Ovner (178-93, college: Bridgeport) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Wetterbygden. Wetterbygden's coach Krumesh Patel tested twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Sodertalje moved-up to sixth place. Wetterbygden lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 15 games lost. Sodertalje's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Lulea Basket at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Wetterbygden will play against A3 Basket (#3) in Umea and hope to win that game.
