An interesting game for Norrkoping Dolphins (20-6) which hosted in Norrkoping 3rd placed Boras Basket (16-9). Second ranked Norrkoping Dolphins had an easy win 108-89. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Boras Basket. The game was mostly controlled by Norrkoping Dolphins. Boras Basket managed to win second period 29-27. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Norrkoping Dolphins won last quarter 31-14. They made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game. Norrkoping Dolphins outrebounded Boras Basket 37-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Norrkoping Dolphins looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Felix Terins (188-98) who led the winners and scored 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American swingman Terry Larrier (203-95, college: UConn) accounted for 27 points for the winning side. Five Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures. Canadian point guard Marek Klassen (186-92, college: PLNU) came up with 25 points and 6 rebounds and international William Gutenius (206-92) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Boras Basket in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Norrkoping Dolphins have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Defending champion Boras Basket keeps the third place with nine games lost. Norrkoping Dolphins will meet league's second-placed SBBK in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Boras Basket will play against Fryshuset in Stockholm and hope to secure a win.
