Very important is a road loss of third ranked Holon (10-6) against sixth ranked Bnot Hertzeliya (8-8) on Monday night. Visiting Holon was defeated by Bnot Hertzeliya in Hertzeliya 93-77. Bnot Hertzeliya players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Marina Mabrey (180-96, college: Notre Dame, agency: Wasserman) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 13 assists. Forward Najai Pollard (180-97, college: Delaware St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Sequoia Holmes (183-86, college: UNLV) replied with 22 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and forward Shae Kelley (185-91, college: Minnesota) added 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Holon. Five Holon players scored in double figures. Bnot Hertzeliya have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Ramat Gan and M.Haifa. Holon at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. Bnot Hertzeliya will play against Petah Tikva (#7) on the road in the next round. Holon will play against M.Haifa (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
