Regular Season Round 23: M.Hod Hasharon - Hapoel H/M 88-96

No shocking result in a game in Hod Hasharon where third ranked Hapoel H/M (11-5) defeated 11th ranked Hasharon (5-10) 96-88 on Tuesday. Hapoel H/M looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Hasharon's players. It was a great evening for American Storm Warren (211-88, college: LSU) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Daniel Danino (186-96, agency: BIG) helped adding 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Xavier Moon (188-95, college: Morehead St.) responded with 24 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Jamaican power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hasharon's coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Hapoel H/M moved-up to second place, which they share with M.Ashdod. Hasharon lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with ten games lost. Hapoel H/M will meet H.Ramat Gan (#5) in the next round. Hasharon will play against H.Galilee (#4) and hope to secure a win.
