Very important is a home loss of second ranked WKS Slask (19-10) against tenth ranked MKS DG (13-16) on Tuesday night. Host WKS Slask was defeated by MKS DG in Wroclaw 82-71. They outrebounded WKS Slask 33-21 including 21 on the defensive glass. The former international guard Andy Mazurczak (188-94, college: UW-Parkside) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners and American-Dominican Malcolm Rhett (206-92, college: Ole Miss) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Elijah Stewart (196-95, college: USC) responded with 18 points and international power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. MKS DG moved-up to ninth place. WKS Slask at the other side dropped to the fourth position with ten games lost. MKS DG will play against GTK (#12) in Gliwice in the next round. WKS Slask will play on the road against Twarde Pierniki (#10) in Torun and hopes to get back on the winning track.
