Eleventh-ranked Hottur (4-11) used its home court advantage to challenge fourth ranked KR (10-5) in Egilsstadir. The visitors from Reykjavik managed to secure only one-point victory 98-97. However their fans expected much easier game. Hottur was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 23-20 charge of KR, which allowed them to win the game.
