A very interesting game took place in Vitoria-Gasteiz. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 9th ranked Araski (11-16) to seventh ranked Maquinaria Ensino (14-14) 67-65 on Saturday evening. American center Chatrice White (190-96, college: FSU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 18 rebounds. The former international power forward Beatriz Sanchez (190-89) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Maquinaria Ensino players scored in double figures. Mozambican forward Tamara Seda (193-94, college: UTEP) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Izaskun Garcia (168-92) added 11 points and 6 assists in the effort for Araski. Maquinaria Ensino moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Clarinos. Araski lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with 16 games lost. Maquinaria Ensino's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Zamarat (#16) in Zamora and are hoping to win another game. Araski will play on the road against Promete (#13) in Logrono and hope to win that game.
