Regular Season Round 21: Sesvete - Kastela 93-95

Twelfth-ranked Sesvete (3-18) used its home court advantage to challenge fourth ranked Ribola (14-7) in Zagreb on Saturday. The visitors from Kastela Sucurac managed to secure only two-point victory 95-93. However their fans expected much easier game. Ribola looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Point guard Josip Vidovic (182-0) nailed 19 points, 8 assists and 5 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and forward Lovre Tvrdic (194-0) accounted for 21 points and 5 rebounds. Swedish Philip Babic (-94) came up with 25 points and 4 assists and Luka Zgela added 21 points respectively for Sesvete in the defeat. Four Sesvete players scored in double figures. Sesvete's coach Tomislav Vouk tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Ribola moved-up to third place, which they share with Jazine. Sesvete lost their sixth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Ribola will meet at home league's leader Cedevita in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sesvete will play against Kvarner (#8) in Rijeka and hope to secure a win.
