No shocking result in a game when second ranked Ardoi (20-5) smashed at home 13th ranked Rosalia (5-19) 76-50 on Saturday. Ardoi forced 31 Rosalia turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Ardoi especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was Portuguese forward Josephine Filipe (177-95) who scored 24 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Iranzu Echeverria (-93) chipped in 15 points. Four Ardoi players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Sara Corredoira (-0) who recorded 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Brazilian center Leticia Soares (185, college: San Diego) added 6 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Rosalia's coach Chiqui Barros gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Ardoi maintains second position with 20-5 record having five points less than leader Barca CBS. Newly promoted Rosalia keeps the thirteenth place with 19 games lost. Ardoi will face Arxil Pontevedra (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rosalia will play against the league's leader Ferrol (#1) and hope to win that game.
