Gran Canaria forced 19 Cadi La Seu turnovers. Mali power forward Sika Kone (190-2) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and American center Kai James (196-95, college: FSU) chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds. Irati Etxarri (187-98) responded with 12 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Ariadna Pujol (185-95, college: S.Florida) scored 14 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Cadi La Seu's coach Bernat Canut rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Gran Canaria. They moved-up to ninth place. Cadi La Seu lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with 17 games lost. Gran Canaria will face Zaragoza (#12) on the road in the next round. Cadi La Seu will play against Al-Qazeres and hope to win that game.
