Very expected game when 14th ranked Aviles (5-20) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Arxil Pontevedra (8-15) 58-40 on Saturday. Arxil Pontevedra held Aviles to an opponent 24.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 38.9 percent accuracy of the winners. The best player for the winners was American forward Heather Forster (188-96, college: Albany) who scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Carla Fernandez (168-89) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists.
