Everything went according to plan in Torun where fourth ranked WKS Slask (20-10) beat 10th ranked Twarde Pierniki (12-18) 96-91 on Sunday. They outrebounded Twarde Pierniki 38-26 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. WKS Slask looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Elijah Stewart (196-95, college: USC) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Bosnian-Croatian Ivan Ramljak (203-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. WKS Slask's coach Oliver Vidin used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American Keyshawn Woods (192-96, college: Ohio St.) who recorded 24 points and the former international swingman Bartosz Diduszko (198-87) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively. Five WKS Slask and four Twarde Pierniki players scored in double figures. WKS Slask moved-up to third place, which they share with Stal Ostrow. Loser Twarde Pierniki keeps the tenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Enea Astoria.
