Regular Season Round 24: I.Ramat Gan - M.Hod Hasharon 72-75

A very interesting game took place in Ramat Gan. It ended with only three-point home defeat of higher ranked I.Ramat Gan (9-9) to eleventh ranked Hasharon (6-11) 75-72 on Sunday evening. Hasharon forced 21 I.Ramat Gan turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Xavier Moon (188-95, college: Morehead St.) who scored 37 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Jamaican power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Hasharon's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Yuval Michaeli (185-99, agency: BIG) who recorded 16 points and 8 assists and the former international forward Jonhatan Nir (202-86, agency: Avi Zilberman) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Hasharon maintains eleventh position with 6-11 record, which they share with H.Acre. I.Ramat Gan lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth place with nine games lost. Hasharon's next round opponent will be Maccabi Raanana (#13) on the road.
