The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Tortona (17-7) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by fourteenth ranked Bergamo (8-14) 73-62. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Albanian power forward Rei Pullazi (203-93) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 rebounds and American center Tony Easley (206-87, college: Murray St.) who added 13 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Five Bergamo players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Jalen Cannon (198-93, college: SFC) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Bruno Mascolo (190-96, agency: Players Group) scored 15 points. Bergamo maintains fourteenth position in A2 with 8-14 record. Tortona at the other side still keeps top place with seven games lost. Bergamo are looking forward to face league's second-placed Torino on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Tortona will play against Udine having rather not much hope for a victory.
