No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Iskra Svit (17-14) beat at home bottom-ranked Handlova (10-21) 90-79. They outrebounded Handlova 37-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. American forward DeSean Parsons (201-95, college: Portland St.) had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Dominic Green (198-97, college: Washington) chipped in 25 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Iskra Svit players scored in double figures. Serbian power forward Aleksandar Zecevic (207-96, college: FAU) responded with 28 points and 8 rebounds and Montenegrin point guard Goran Bulatovic (186-88) scored 7 points and 11 assists. Handlova's coach Danilo Rakocevic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Iskra Svit moved-up to third place. Handlova at the other side stay at the bottom position with 21 games lost. Iskra Svit will play against league's leader Nova Ves at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Handlova will play against Prievidza (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
