An interesting game took place in Tel-Aviv where higher ranked H.Beer Sheva (10-9) was upset on the court of eleventh ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (4-13) 95-86 on Thursday. Nigerian-Canadian guard Caleb Agada (196-94, college: Ottawa, agency: Blacktop Management) produced 27 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Eric Griffin (203-90, college: Campbell) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Hapoel Tel-Aviv and four H.Beer Sheva players scored in double figures. H.Beer Sheva's coach Rami Hadar rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hapoel Tel-Aviv maintains eleventh position with 4-13 record. Loser H.Beer Sheva keeps the seventh place with nine games lost. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will meet higher ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (#3) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
